Today it's MY Birthday!

...my blog's, that is! A few things about my blogging:

It’s an addiction.

It got me laughing during my darkest moments at the Motel 6.

I have met some truly interesting and fun people. I feel like I know children, husbands, friends, and boyfriends (real and imaginary). It is way better than watching TV!

It has helped curb my ebay buying because I spend more time reading than I do shopping.

Like a few others, I see the crummier moments in life in a new light. H cringes when I say, “Oh, you are so getting blogged!”

I have a whole new attitude towards soy.

I was so scared to “come out” from semi-lurker to blogger!

I only did it because Stacy asked where I was in one of her posts.

I began the whole thing by reading PlanetDan’s post about senior pictures. (It was forwarded to me by a friend who said I could probably relate)

Thanks, Dan!

It has been a whole year and the Motel 6 posts are over! YEA!

It doesn’t mean the house is completely finished so don’t think the sarcasm will end.

I am still a lurker on certain blogs.

But I read my favorites every day!

I think it would be fun to meet some of the people in person.

But they don’t even know my real name.

Happy Birthday Roundpen...here's to another year!

YEAY!!!!!
Thank you for finally sharing your name! See? We got to see your picture (as you hung out with those hot pieces of man flesh at the rodeo thing) and now this! We are so honored! And by the way, my hubby also does the cringing thing.
HAPPY BLOGGIE BIRTHDAY!!

Maureen/wtc! I was almost a Maureen. Happy blog birthday! I'll be raising a cocktail to you in about, oh, as fast as I can walk home from work. And may the sarcasm never end!

Maureen!!!! *Finally* we know your real name. Your 1st name AND pictures all within a relatively short timespan. Moving out of the Motel Six sure has sparked some revelations to surface. However, I'm sure when Stacy & I reference you in our phone conversations, we'll still say Walk Trot. It's habit, now. Happy birthday to your blog!

I'll miss the oversized snowman that deflates stories this winter.

I am indeed a new and *published* woman now that I have checked out of the Motel 6. I guess I figured after a year I'd be able to tell if you were all stalker-axe murderer types.

MAUREEN!! Pleased to meet you! And pleased with a full year of reading pleasure...even though I can't read blogs every day anymore. Does this mean I'm actually a better employee at this job??

I love how I will always be WalkTrot...that is kind of how it is with my horse riding too...lol. I think it would be a blast to meet! There was a big bloggers convention on the West Coast this past Spring and I was actually jealous! We will have to figure a way, tho, to get Mandy and Christine to meet in the middle from their various coasts...hmmmmmmm.
